Never, in all my years of reading, have I encountered such a poorly assembled diatribe! Were it not for the Kindle purchase price of $0.99, I would have asked for a refund after reading (or attempting to read) the first chapter. I would be shocked if the author made it through public school, nevermind any more lofty educational attainments. What I found more shocking is that he is, or was approved by the FAA to be a Certified Flight Instructor. My sincere condolences to any unfortunate pilot who was trained by this individual who writes about "breaks", "peddles", and other controls that he may have "herd" about. Steer clear.Product details

Lots of real time situations and loads of information about aircraft and regulations. Any one who flies or wants to learn should read this book.
I find the love and intensity of flying by Joe refreshing and his sharing of situations helpful, which should and is a sharing brotherhood of bird men. However I found it grammatically atrocious.
The author shares a number of stories of what can go wrong with small aircraft. Adequate detail is given in each case to show how much of the problem is due to attitude, and how much to mechanical failure. An interesting case study for aviation enthusiasts.
