I love the Spot books but this one seems a little boring for my 2 year old. He loves the lift the flaps books (this is not a lift the flap one) and he loves his other Spot books. This one is fairly boring and he didn't like it the first time he read it. There really is no plot line. It just tells the reader what spot and his friends are doing in the pictures (playing in the park, play dress up, playing in a parade, etc.). That said, I love the simple illustrations of Spot books and my kid likes to point out the things in the book. Maybe a 2 year old is too old for this title.

It's cute and a fine board book - we prefer the lift-flap Spot books. I did not realize this did not have the lift flaps.
